The intention with these pages is to have pictures of as many species of British birds as possible. Eventually all the pictures will have been been taken on mine and Matthew's digital cameras (Fuji Finepix 2800)- we both have the same one as it was the only sub- 300 pound camera with a six times optical zoom. For the moment there are some taken on a Canon EOS1000 and some on Fuji and Olympus SLRs, even one or two on ancient Zenith B/Es. The links below are to photo galleries for the arbitary categories I've put them in. The images have been resized and down-graded to make them load faster. I have all the originals (as jpegs) which are generally higher quality should anyone be intersted in one or more of them. As more are added new DIGISCOPING techniques (very basic and cheap) are being used. I recently got a Nikon Coolpix 885 for school (!) so that is now the main digiscoping camera also an Opticron HR80 scope. Now I've upgraded from the 2800Zoom to the S5500.
Numbers of species in each category are in brackets - there is more than one picture of some species. Currently 13 species are pictures of captive birds only.
